In
the peal of the negotiations, the PSOE
and Pedro Sánchez knows that Pablo Iglesias and We Can they are his biggest ally, but also his biggest enemy. The
hard demands of the party of Iglesias to the socialists to make a pact have
made that from Ferraz they have looked for their weak point: IU and the alliances with the
territorial partners of the party.
For
everything it, in this week of meetings and negotiations that it starts up
today, the socialists will look for, he informs today the newspaper The
Country, to stir up the biggest number of supports around Sánchez looking for
kind of a 'I surround' to the 47 pure deputies of We Can, since the formation of Iglesias is being the hardest when
dialoguing with Sánchez, ending up even vetoing him that dialogue with Citizens.
To
get this, the socialists want to take advantage of the good disposition from IU
to the pact. Those of Alberto Garzón repugnant a Government of change and,
wronged erroneously by the attitude of We
Can toward them in the electoral campaign, they only request the PSOE a complete social calendar to
offer him their support. An attitude that he could leave to We Can very signal if it continues in
their closeness. Sew that I don't believe because neither IU neither the satellites of the frank of We Can they are non-socialists but of left and they are anything
without We Can.
Another
point could happen with the territorial partners of We Can. Especially with Compromís,
after the 'I divorce' parliamentarian among those of Iglesias and the Valencian
party that he preferred to pass to the Mixed Group. The formation of Mònica Oltra
and Joan Baldoví would not put significant obstacles a Government of change
that evicts the PP of the
Moncloa.
More
complicated it seems this strategy of the PSOE
with in Comù podem and with Marea, the Catalan and Galician
partners of Iglesias that claim the referendum sovereignties. Although up to
now these frank have demonstrated unit with the main party, they have not been
few the voices inside both that they have proposing an approach and more
dialog to the socialists that the one proposed by the address of We Can. But I reaffirm myself that none
of these appendixes of We Can it is
anything outside of the umbrella of the head. In my opinion they are more the
desires of PSOE of making by been
worth before its more than sure government partner that doesn't unite real
political stratagem.
The
interested press is possibly based on these strategic movements more for
illusion than for reality, and maybe in the fact that last week contacts
already transcended among the directing Catalan PSC Carme Chacón and Miquel Iceta with Xavier Domènech, 'strong
man' of in Comú Podem in
Madrid.
Behind
this they say it would be the mayors from Barcelona Ada Colau, authentic
reference of the fork in Catalonia and that it has already explored pact
options in their City council with the PSC.
But these conclusions or strategies fear myself they are made from Madrid and non-headquarters
Barcelona where we know that the PSC
in a support alternative to Colau in the city council of Barcelona, but in any
case it happens of here the collaboration or political fork between both
parties .
My
impression is that at the end the PSOE
will consider seriously to be convinced that has to reach an agreement with the
party’s Catalan independents so that they support the investiture of the duet PSOE / We Can fact that I am more than
convinced that the Catalan independents supports before the alternative of a
government with the PP or with the
uncertainty of some new elections in Spain. And I eat I already wrote in
another article that the PSOE
neither for extension We Can they
should worry about the Catalan independents, although they request them their
support their war it is not our war and in principle the current situation is
that that is observed the situation like a fight between Popular Party and Citizens
with PSOE in Catalonia and We Can. And like they will understand
the favor for our part it will always be to favor, be worth the redundancy, of enemy's
our enemy.
