To be independent is not easy task. You must export to
the world the singularity, historical, the language and the culture, among
other many things. For it, they have met a series of recommendations in the
Manual of good practices of the independent and they have been distributed
among the Catalanist circles that defend the referendum of November 9. This
manual has been elaborated by a denominated association The Factory, an
"entity that works with the objective of getting the independence of
Catalonia", as it picks up The Confidential one.
It is, in definitive, of a campaign that seeks to win
followers (ERC has even distributed them among its bases). "In all the
causes, for fair that are, it can have inadequate behaviors and excessive
attitudes that finish generating the opposite of that that they intend",
he notices the manual. Among the premises that are picked up they highlight some
as "avoiding the insults". To "Hurt our opponent with insults
doesn't weaken it, but on the contrary, it allows him to take out forces of the
resentment", he adds the manual.
Also, he explains that with the insult it is
demonstrated the lack of arguments and the first floor intellectual and moral
level (as when some unionists "equip to the independentistas with the
Nazi"). It is Also important the respect toward "all the other
languages". Although they recognize that a Catalan State would prioritize
the consolidation of the Catalan language, "all must be welcomed in foot
of equality, and each language must be respected."
The text tinges that one in the ways of winning
partisans is based on the sympathy that they generate those that defend the
cause. This way, the following thing is picked up: "A smile can make as
much as many arguments; some eyes that shine can convince more than a string of
figures". Another of the premises that picks up this manual of good
practices is that it is necessary to consider to the undecided ones as a
priority, since "a fringe of the electorate votes, at the end, for the
option that he thinks that it will win."
Lastly, among the most outstanding recommendations, he
is to "attract the international" sympathy. In this section, he is
carried out a comparison among Scotland and of the Padania: "Scotland is a
nation with specific rights. On the other hand, the Padania continues seeming
an invention of laboratory of some selfish and xenophobic regionalists. For
that reason it is important that Catalonia is compared Scotland and here all
can have a paper."
As they can see it is a good treaty, in good ways, and
of a lot of sensibility for not hurting the opponent, because it is evident
that any official or unofficial popular association that promotes the
Independence of the country in Catalonia, doesn't go against anybody, the
independence that is requested from Catalonia is purely an act of social
maturity, of a town that considers that it is qualified to prosper more and
better without the pressure that Spain exercises on its economic and social
future, but this independence never settles down with rebellion character,
neither of confrontation, I would like to read something similar from the other
side.
