SPAIN, THE SOCCER AND THE TV, A STORY FOR AN INSIPID DAY

Today almost everything is neuter news on the wrongs of our days, the economy and the politics. So I have planned to comment on a peculiar problem that alone the obligation happens in our country of being Spanish. Spain like in all the European countries they harbor in their gentile diverse people that form in their coexistence a nation, I imagine, and I know some cases that all they have form differences of being and pride to be what they are, the curious thing is that alone here this is not well seen and not well channeled to such an extent by the Spanish politics that is absolutely centralist apart from being bipolar, that it affects to the particular and peculiar feeling that each inhabitant of this country should have. 

I have already written on this several times, and believe me that it is difficult to make it because you never know if you will be crossed out of Spanish anti, and your words didn't cause any effect more than that of the rejection and the offense, but I will attempt it again, and to make it in a superficial but representative way, I will use as example the national sport the soccer, I won't talk about the retributions of the players but if of the indigestion of retransfers of this sport that they are made by TV and of the payment of the canon for retransmission of the soccer games.  

The situation is at one time another time the reflection of the Spanish centralism and its bipolarity, and its politics past in politics it was said in Spain that the town had enough with which they gave him "bread and bulls" this seems that now it has been substituted by "little bread and a lot of soccer", but to what went, as consequence of this the soccer for TV is in private hands and it is no longer free and this reality believes a protest in the world of the soccer that rests in that in this world, the "coffee is not applied for all", sew that if it is applied in the economic politics and common of the government from Spain, and clear this doesn't like many clubs leaders that don't understand the reality, partly because they are not accustomed to that in this country each one is taken out the chestnuts of the fire like he can. 

The situation is simple of understanding, but difficult to explain and of swallowing they will see because, almost all you know the problem, there is a canon for retransfer of soccer games that this paid one for private companies, which distribute it in function of its interests and results with relationship to the revenues that the games report them. Comprehensible their point of view truth, but that it passes in the reality that the differences of retributions are abysmal in comparison with two teams, concretely the Real Madrid and the Barcelona, this in way so accused single raisin in our country, and not in France or Great Britain to give an example.  

In Spain already from before the democracy one takes care that the representative team of the country was one, concretely the Real Madrid, team for own more signs and homonym of the capital of the Kingdom, in those circumstances, this didn't seem to have importance because everybody accepted it, (except in Catalonia where you always fought for that the Barcelona that represented the Catalan feeling was) so during many years, in those that there were no direct economic interests of for half, all Spain and all Spanish, era first of the Real Madrid and later for sympathy and vicinity of the club of its city or town. 

This was this way and it continues being this way, although it weighs them that it is said to the presidents of the clubs like the Seville, Zaragoza, Almería, Gijón, etc. is another team in Spain that has always stayed faced to this situation the Barcelona, because this is this way, because in Catalonia first are been of the "Barça" and later it is been of the "Barça" by what this club represented to the feeling and Catalan pride.  

Now that the soccer is more a business that non politics, this no longer has remedy and he should understand each other without acrimony, and to see like it can leave giving the turn to this matter although I see it very difficult, the abysmal difference that there are between the two clubs pointers and the other ones, is almost the same one that there are between the communities of Madrid and Catalonia, and the other ones, increased by the real fact that mentioned before, are more Andalusians, of the Madrid that of the Seville, more Aragoneses of the Madrid that of the Zaragoza, and it could mention this way all and each one of the communities of Spain except Catalonia. 

And this is what they reward the televisions with their canon, the audience, and they don't doubt it alone they have national and international audience, the Madrid and the Barça, and like he said before I see very difficult to change this except for in case some day the UEFA, decided to create a league super-professional as the NBA in USA, where the frank are fixed and they are not paid to business price of sport, and where alone they have fit super potent teams that move a general show there for the whole country they would have space the super Madrid and Barça and the rest could play the professional league of first Spanish division in equality of conditions.
